You can advertise your expertise, your occasion or used things to earn some extra money.
Due to loss of job, salary curtailing, removing bonuses and decreased 401 (K) matching contributions, your income is becoming smaller, but the bills are not.

If your usual occupation is not bringing you sufficient money or you have relinquished your job for good, the following points can help to earn some money until you stand on your feet.



Here are 10 tips for earning some extra cash:






1. Do casual work

Felice Premeau Devine left her profitable, full-time job two years ago to elevate her son. In short term, she chose to writing and editing self-employed work and launched a blog, and she is capable of earning some money from advertising.

2. Sell your books

She says that people who search circulating coinage effectively, as a side business, they do so in a very large quantity. They purchase bundles of coins from banks, usually in complete boxes, and sort out things. Headley says. Half dollars, for example, were no longer made from 90 percent silver after 1965, but they still had 40 percent silver in them until 1970; either of these give a nice profit. Presidential dollar errors can be worth $50 to $5,000 each. Un-circulated state quarters can sell from $10 to $50 per roll; and rare error coins can value up to $35,000.


4. Start a “business”

Convert your hobby, skills or expertise into a part-time business. Sites like Jobvana can help you do so by supplying you free devices for marketing, and give particular knowledge for the needy.

Peter Olson says he made a sketch in September 2008 to teach guitar lessons. He obtained two students, earning about $240 extra dollars per month and totaling about $1,000 since he started teaching.


5. Enter local and online sweepstakes.

Wendy Limauge has been entering sweepstakes since 1993 and teaching others to win through her Web site, Sweeties Sweeps, since 2002. Though winning sweepstakes rarely gives actual money, her winnings have constantly furnished her and her family with 200 to 300 prizes a year, with several big things she and her husband could not purchase through their incomes only.

She has won prizes which include three TVs, two of which are flat-screens; a home theatre system; three dishwashers, each won on different occasions; at least $1,500 in grocery gift certificates; an $18,000 voucher for the motorcar of her choice; a trip to France valued at $25,000; and, in March 2009, she won $5,000 in an instant-win game.

Limauge says that”The Internet has so many choices for saving money, getting something for free, winning a prize or earning money from home”. You need to find those sources that proffer supportive information and point out the correct way to make you start and act accordingly.”


6. Give your opinion — and get paid

Linda Childers, a California-based casual writer, says that many of her friends take part in focus groups. Devoting one hour of your time can earn for you up to $100, or even more. 7. Sell your junk

Terri Jay earns $2,000 – $3,000 every month just by selling useless items. On eBay, Jay not only sells things that she is not using but also she hits up local thrift stores on 99-cent days, garage sales and tack sales, searching things for which she knows the value. She says her best sale was for a drink tray from the 70s: She paid 25 cents for it and it was sold for $87.

She advises that “The trick is to [sell] what you know”. So, you can list them [at correct prices] to be picked up in searches [on eBay].”


8. Join a direct selling company

Direct selling is the easiest method to earn extra money, particularly if you sell products that you love. Avon, for example, allows you launch your own business for $10. It depends on your hard work. Few full-time representatives earn six-figure salaries, others own licensed Avon Beauty Centers and many of them sell Avon part time as per their family’s schedules.

Haizel MacIntyre started her Avon business in June of 2008 to earn additional income to her full-time job when her husband was discharged from service. Since joining Avon, MacIntyre earns average $1,800 per month in sales and her husband is helping her in business. Her Avon earnings pay the bills, provide funds for her three kids and she is anticipating enough earning for college tuition when she joins school to obtain her Masters in Social Work.



9. Be a secret shopper

Zippy Sandler says, With ardent eyes for details and a good memory are necessary succeed as a secret shopper, who has been mystery shopping for about 13 years. After registering with a secret shopping company, you are remunerated essentially to move about and report to company’s operation from the public opinion.

Sandler was determined to begin secret shopping not only to earn money eating, traveling and shopping, but also to learn customer service skills to teach the employees arranged at a retail store. Depending on the customers she is shopping for, Sandler says she has earned from $100 to $2,000 per month.


10. Sell your photos to stock agencies

If it is your hobby as a part time or an experienced photographer, anyone can offer their photos to stock photo agencies like Shutterstock.com. If your images are acceptable, they will be accessible for download by subscribers. Every time someone downloads your photos, you earn 25 cents.
