A Luxury Prison Hotel Concept

After serving as one of the Netherlands most feared prisons for almost 150 years, Het Arresthuis, in Roermond, has been converted into a luxury hotel that no one wants to escape from anymore.
Het Arresthuis opened its doors in 1862, as a prison. Obviously, no one came here to stay by their own accord, during the 19th and 20th century, but things have changed a lot since then. The jail closed down for good in 2007, and now that the facility has been transformed into a luxurious hotel, guests actually pay big money to spend at least a night in one of the old holding cells. Although “cells” is not exactly the right word to describe the chic accommodations at Het Arresthuis.

The 105 prisoner’s quarters have been converted into 40 spacious rooms, including 24 standard rooms, 12 deluxe rooms, and four suites, all of which feature modern furnishings and chic interior design. They are all equipped with air conditioning, a flat screen TV, free WiFi, and even a personal coffee and tea machine, and the hotel’s include a sauna, a fitness center, a central patio with olive trees, and an organic herb garden. If you’re wondering about bars, this place has both kinds – the ones you can’t get past and the ones where you can get your drink on.

Just in case you’re worried about jail food, Het Arresthuis staff are quick to reassure guests that the Damiantz restaurant serves more than just water and bread. Patrons can opt for a special jail-themed dinner party, complete with jailhouse attire, but the menu will be a lot scrumptious that what the old prisoners used to get. Looking at all these lovely photos, I think it’s safe to say the Het Arresthuis prison hotel is not a bad place to be doing time.

iPhone 5 The Concept We Admire

The next round up for iPhone 5 by Apple could be at any time but before that the fans and the designers are eager to introduce their concept designs. Of all, we loved the design of Italian designer Federico Ciccares. Its not the first time that Federico has been doing this design job. But what he has presented this time is really admirable.

If you see at the pictures presented by him than you can notice that the new iPhone 5 he showed us is more like the Apple’s Magic mouse, its curvy, its sleek and of most it adjusts perfectly in your palm. Moreover Federico also introduced this designed as like the iMac styled from back since the Apple logo at the back glows when your phone is on. You can also observe in the design that top and bottom edges are left without any disturbance in design since the headphone jack is provided on the sides and this looks amazing to follow the curvy design! Tell us what are your suggestions about this design and how do you want the next generation iPhone to be.

LiquidMetal Concept For iPhone 5

We have seen various iPhone 5 concepts on the web and we found some worthy to share and some not even acceptable, but here is something really amazing to show. A new liquid metal concept iPhone 5 is running over the web and we are amazed to see its design and specs. No matter this concept would be real or not, but this is something Apple should really be looking at. The new iPhone 5 presented in this liquid metal concept is almost similar in design to the present iPhone, i.e it also has a rectangular shaped body, but its back is a bit tapered giving it a whole new look. The processor inside it is Quad-core A6 (as expected from rumours) and the screen is 4 inch with virtual home button.

Talking about the size of this beauty, the design says that this will be just 7mm thick (which makes it even thinner than Galaxy S3 ) Moreover the design shows 10 MP rear camera and 5 MP front facing camera, NFC Chip and liquid Metal Casing around the phone.

So overall the concept looks amazing and its more or less the one which Apple should adopt for their future phones, no matter how iPhone 5 turn out to be, but this concept is really a job well done by the artist. Take a look at the pictures below
